Nikon Coolpix S570 is an ultra compact and strong camera with all aluminum body. The camera is 12 mega pixel and has 5x wide-angle zoom and a 2.7 inch monitor. The camera is a user's delight with dimension of 92 x 56.5 x 21.5mm and a light body of 137 g. This camera uses SD (Secure Digital) or SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory cards to save the images. Though these memory card have large memory space, they are highly susceptible to corruption if proper care is not taken. In case of corruption in the memory card, the solution to bring back the card in to working condition is to format the card. But a formatted card erases all the photos previously saved on the card. In such a condition, you can get back your erased data by the use of photo recovery software.
Picture a scenario, wherein you have gone for a picnic and have snapped a number of photos with your Nikon Coolpix S570 camera. Back home when you switched on the camera and accessed the memory card to view the photos. On this, your camera LCD screen prompted the following error message:
“Image cannot be saved”
After you received the error message, the photos on the SDHC memory card became inaccessible.
Causes:
Few reasons why you got the above error message are as follows:
- The photos snapped in the camera has out numbered the maximum capacity
- The space in the memory card is insufficient
- Corrupt memory card
Resolution:
You can perform the following steps to resolve the problem:
- Delete some photos from the memory card
- Alter the setting of the 'image mode' from 16.9 to another value
- If none of the above procedures give the desired result, then format the memory card
Though formatting of the memory card brings it back to the working condition, but it erases all the photos in the card. In such a case, if you have an updated backup, you can recover your lost photos from the backup. But in case you have no proper backup, you can still recover the photos by using photo recovery software. The software implements high ended algorithm to recover the inaccessible data from a formatted media.
